PHILIPSBURG:— The Minister of TEATT Ingrid Arrindell and the Council of Ministers is yet to take a final decision on how they will work with Regina Labega the former Managing Director of the Princess Juliana International Airport (PJIAE) whose contract will expire on June 30th 2016. Labega was sent on paid leave since she failed the screening process that was conducted by VDSM.
SMN News learnt that the Minister of TEATT is rather careful on what job function they will give to Labega especially since she along with two other persons were arrested on May 30th in the six year old Colade investigation.
Even though Labega and the two other suspects that were arrested two days after their arrest government does not know where the prosecution stands with the investigation. The Colade investigation started some six years ago when the former head of finance Baas Roorda filed a complaint against Labega and Edward Dest for theft, embezzlement and forgery.
When the trio was arrested the prosecution in a press bulletin stated that the interrogation will last days because the file is a huge file. However, two days after the arrest the prosecution chose to release the trio without taking them before the judge of instruction.
