Road repairs planned this weekend along with other road works.

GREAT BAY (DCOMM):— Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that road repairs will commence on November 20 with respect to potholes at the intersection of Rubber Tree drive and Union road.

The repair works will be carried out by Windward Roads from 6.00am to 7.00pm.

Due to the road repairs, there will be a traffic detour. There will be no through traffic coming from Brouwers road, Welfare road and G.A. Arnell road in the direction to Union road (Marigot).

Motorists will be diverted from Kruythoff roundabout via Welfare road, Wellington road, through Orange Grove road heading in the direction of Marigot.

Traffic will flow from Union road direction Brouwers road (Philipsburg) via Orange Grove road, Wellington road, through Welfare road.

Motorists and pedestrians in the area should pay keen attention when commuting as heavy equipment will be in use. Pay attention to traffic diversion signs and workmen who will be present to help direct the flow of traffic.

NV GEBE will be carrying out civil works on Zagersgut road on November 19. The utility company will be replacing old water lines.

Windward Roads will be patching potholes on Airport road. This will start on November 19.
