PHILIPSBURG:— The Governors of St. Maarten and Curacao, based on articles 6 and 18 of the Extradition Decree of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten ordered the extradition of R.G.K (Rogelio Gregory Koeiman.(Aruba, 1968), G.T.F. (Gilberto Felicia) (Curaçao, 1978) and R.M.R. (Ronchie Riatwijk Curaçao, 1965) to the United States.
This in accordance with an extradition request from the United States of America on October 29, 2013, by the Department of Justice. The men were arrested on St. Maarten and Curacao, respectively, on November 15, 2016, and January 17, 2017.
The Extradition Acts were signed on January 16, 2017. The three men are accused by the District Court Southern District of New York (United States) of two drug shipments from St. Maarten to the United States.
The Attorney General’s Office (PPG) has started the actual procedure for the extradition of the men.
