PHILIPSBURG:— As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Prime Minister and Chair of EOC, Honorable Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs, instructed all schools on the island to be closed to students and the general public as of March 18, 2020.
As a result of the closure, most schools turned over to digital/online educational platforms to continue the learning process for their students. This new style of learning forms a hindrance for some students due to no internet or laptop/computer at home.
