PHILIPSBURG:--- Though signs of recovery from the pandemic crisis seem visible in today’s published occupancy rates for April, the St Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA) reminds us that for use as an economic indicator, it is important to compare not just the occupancy rate, but also the room count to St. Maarten’s pre-Irma timeframes.
