PHILIPSBURG:— The Sint Maarten Hospitality & Trade Association (SHTA) and the Sint Maarten Timeshare Association (SMTA) have jointly nominated Ms. Edna Evans (Belair Beach Resort) as the first Sint Maarten choice for the “Women in Tourism Caribbean” network. This was announced by both organizations earlier today.
The Women in Tourism Caribbean network highlights female Caribbean tourism professionals. Every Wednesday one of the Caribbean destinations is allowed to nominate an outstanding woman in this key industry of the region.
Ms. Evans has been director of Belair Beach Resort since 2018. Previously, she was the longtime General Manager of the Summit
