PHILIPSBURG:—Twelve students from MPC and Sundial School couldn’t believe their luck when they heard they were to receive a tablet for their schoolwork. The sudden move to distance learning due to COVID 19 has actually been challenging for many students since quite a few students do not have a functioning computer at their disposal at home. This very welcome donation of twelve tablets was made possible by a group of frequent visitors of St Maarten, who wanted to do something special for their beloved vacation location and raised funds through their Facebook group: Simply SXM.
