CAY HILL:— St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) recently hosted a seminar at the Divi Little Bay Beach Resort titled ‘Change Towards Quality and Safety’ which was organized by SMMC’s Quality and Safety Department and facilitated by a leading quality expert from the Netherlands, Dr. Everard van Kemenade.
This seminar provided SMMC’s medical specialists, ER doctors, House Officer and Pharmacist new perceptions in the essence of Quality and Safety Management in times of change. It provided them with clarity on properly channeling their thoughts as tools to facilitate change.
