Residents and visitors alike are invited to “Boo at the Zoo”, which is the St. Maarten Zoo's most popular event of the year. The fun-filled evening is suitable for children and adults of all ages and will be organized by the Board and Management of the St. Maarten Zoo along with the high school students of the Caribbean International Academy (CIA). The goal this year is to have a successful event that is both freaky but appropriate enough for even the smallest of children to ensure that everyone leaves with a smile.

Adults and children alike can have fun getting freaked out on the scary, haunted walk through the Zoo. Along the way, visitors will be met with surprises of all kinds, including grab boxes in which the contents are unknown until you put your hand inside. Children and their parents/guardians can also sit around our small bonfire, for roasting marshmallows while listening to scary stories. Mr. Rumari Rogers, our island's multi-talented youth performer will be presenting a performance live at Boo in the Zoo this year, so do not miss it! Music and entertainment will be provided by DJ Baby Face and MC Trilogy. Prizes can be won for the best costume, best dancer and more.

The Zoo’s Monkey Bar Restaurant will also be in full service and operation; ready to serve you some delicious food, snacks, and refreshing beverages.

Come on down and celebrate Halloween at The St. Maarten Zoo Saturday, October 29, 2016, in Madame Estate. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 if you are in costume, but $10 if you are not in costume. The Zoo is also encouraging adults to partake in the festivities as well by also coming in costume!
