Pond Island:--- TelEm Group Management and staff enjoyed a fun evening in each other’s company to honour mothers and fathers in the company – The belated celebration was a joint one to bring staff together to mark both Mother’s Day and Father’s day 2016 in one event.
The event was sponsored by management and coordinated by the Change Champions Group, who treated staff to a choice of soup, johnny cakes and other other goodies along with refreshments, two in-house DJ’s and Karaoke.
Highlights of the evening included an “ire” rendition of a Bob Marley Ballard by SMCU President, Ludson Evers, who was himself rendered speechless by a very professional performance of “Just because I’m a woman” sung by Manager, Customer Relations, Veronica Browne.

After the event, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mrs. Helma Etnel thanked the organizers, and especially the group of extra volunteers who pitched in for the fun event that ended up setting the tone for the weekend.
“It was good to see staff enjoying themselves as colleagues at the end of the work week and especially to mark two very important days in the community calendar,” said Mrs. Etnel.
