WILLEMSTAD:— Curaçao and the Netherlands yesterday agreed on a 3rd corona support package for the island, in exchange for reforms. In that context, the Netherlands will invest extra in the security and rule of law of Curaçao in the coming years.
The Dutch government is prepared to make a total structural investment of up to € 18.5 million. According to the government, a functioning constitutional state is a precondition for economic development and the legitimate use of public finances.
