Cole Bay:— Three Armed men entered the Tropicana Casino in Cole Bay and robbed the establishment of cash. Details on exactly how much monies were stolen is not yet known. Police Spokesman Ricardo Henson said the three men entered the casino armed with guns and committed the robbery, after which they managed to escape in a grey van bearing the number place V- 2800. Persons are asked to call the police if they spot the vehicle but should take the necessary precautions and not approach the vehicle as the culprits are armed.

The Special Robbery Unit along with several police patrols were sent to Tropicana Casino on Monday April 11th at approximately 12.35 p.m. where shortly before three armed men had stormed into casino and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of cash. After committing this act the suspects fled in a heavily tinted grey/silver colored Van with license plate V-2800. Immediately a search of the area was conducted to locate the suspects. The suspect vehicle was found on the Aaron Jacobs drive in Cape Bay. The detectives are presently talking to potential witnesses and the forensic department is collecting evidence. The Van has been confiscated for further investigation. No suspects have been arrested in this case thus far. As more information becomes available the media will be informed.
