The resort boasts on its website that it has two pools, a swim up bar, spa services, and fitness center, while there are several casinos, bars and restaurants in close proximity.
A photograph of the pool at the resort was taken by concerned persons that visited Alegria is currently circulating. The photograph shows that the pool is totally green and even have a yellow tape seemingly to stop visitors from entering it. However, management of the resort seems to be ignorant of the Zika virius since the pool at the resort is a perfect breeding ground for mosquito.
Minister of Health Emil Lee told SMN News he also received the photograph and he also sent it to the inspectorate in order for them to get on top of the case.
Minister Lee assured SMN News that he is on top of the case Saturday morning after seeing the photograph.
