Car wreck cleanup begins in St. Peters in November

St. Maarten – The clean-up of car wrecks in the district of St. Peters begins on November 4, the Vromi-ministry announced in a press release.  The clean-up will go on throughout the month of November.

Vromi works together with the Community Police on this project. All vehicles matching the description of unpaid road tax, outdated inspection, abandonment, and that are hazardous to public safety will be removed from the St. Peters district. All vehicles that are towed will be crushed.

The ministry advises owners of cars that match the description to remove them immediately.
