St. Maarten News – Medical tourism seems to develop in the opposite direction for the first time with an offer from Carib-a-Travel for a ‘medical or vacation’ trip to Medellin in Colombia. The trip, at a cost of $950 a head, is from June 4 to 11 and registration closes next Wednesday, May 11.

The offer includes, apart from the return ticket and 7 nights of 4-star hotel accommodation, of transport to and from the airport, hotel and clinic, assistance with all doctor appointments and test schedules, interpreters Spanish-English and professional guides.
