St. Maarten News – Once again, the Methodist Agogic Centre (MAC) Foundation will be celebrating its Founders Day and commemorate 40 years of academic tradition. As part of this 40th Anniversary celebration, the Foundation would like to organize a massive school reunion for all MAC school leavers. This occasion will be one of a number of celebrations throughout the first half of the year.
The MAC is now actively recruiting past students to form an Alumni Association for the first time since the establishment of the school in 1976. This association will be charged with the organization and coordination of diverse projects, adding some much needed value to the growing prosperity of the institution and its students.
MAC alumni or any persons or businesses in the community interested in joining or supporting the association are kindly asked to collect a registration/information form at the MAC school’s Executive Office in the Royal Palm Plaza, Philipsburg or from any of the three MAC campuses: Rev. John A. Gumbs (Betty’s Estate), Browlia F. Maillard (St. John’s Estate) and MAC Comprehensive Secondary Education (Ebenezer) or sign up on our Facebook page: Methodist Agogic Centre (MAC)Alumni Association and send an e-mail to macschoolalums@gmail.com.
MAC pride can be seen in its alumni at various levels within the private and public sectors. The school boasts having produced parliamentarians, government department heads, pilots, bank managers, artists, police officers and many more professionals on Sint Maarten.
