Holland House Beach Hotel staff gets first response certificate

St. Maarten News – Twelve management and staff members of Holland House Beach Hotel received an Emergency First Response certificate last Friday. After three days of emergency first response primary and secondary care training, provided by Sandra Volard Kruis from RicSan SXM Consulting BV, all participants passed theirs exams.

The participants found that the training was interesting, extremely useful and very well organized. Holland House is pleased to have qualified staff members on site 24 hours a day who are able to give emergency first response care. Paul Boetekees, managing director, said: “We have guests on our premises 24 hours a day, lots of things could happen. It reassures us that we are now able to give our guests, as well as our colleagues, first response care when they are in need and while waiting for an ambulance or doctor to arrive. We hope we never need to put this training into action, however, I am pleased with how serious our staff took the training and I know they will be on top of their game in the unlucky event something happens.”
