St.maarten – There will be hope after all: at 4 p.m. yesterday afternoon Mercedes van der Waals-Wyatt’s party Helping Our People Excel (Hope) had collected 213 signatures to support is list of candidates for the September 26 elections.

Last week the other eight parties passed the test, but Hope fell short of the required 146 signatures and could show only 66. Now the party will be eligible to take part in the elections.
