GREAT BAY – The Philipsburg Jubilee Library offers its clients a grace period during the summer that begins on June 27 and ends on July 8. During this time, clients can return overdue books with no cost to them.
On Jul 1, Emancipation Day, the library will be closed.
The opening schedule for the remainder of the summer is as follows; Mondays: closed.
Tuesdays & Wednesdays: open from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. Thursdays: open from 2 to 8 p.m. Fridays: open from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Saturdays: open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The library will resume regular opening hours on August 22.
The library will host its annual summer programs for the kids and teens aged 7 to 12 and 14 to 17. Registration for both summer programs closes on Friday, June 30.
“We would like to encourage our parents to continue assisting our children to becoming avid and lifelong lovers of reading books. The reading of books assists the entire community which strengthens us all,” the library said in a press statement
