St. Maarten News – Leola Cotton opened the New Era art gallery and school in November of last year at the Royal Palm Plaza on Front Street (between the Methodist Church and L’Escargot Restaurant).
This upcoming Sunday, the gallery will bring Front Street to life from 5 to 8 p.m. with riveting poetry, an art exhibition of diverse media, music by DJ CD Rankin & Connis Vanterpool; art auction and sale. Artists participating in this art explosion are: Mervin Hous; Kenneth Samson; Lucinda Audain; Randolf Scott; Kerwan Celestine; Mr. Kelly; and Leola Cotton.
Your taste buds will be enticed with a mixture of Nepalese/Indian cuisine and drinks from Newa Chopstix Bar & Restaurant also located at The Royal Palm Plaza.
This Masterpiece Art & Poetry Soiree will be followed up with an Art & Craft Summer Camp from July 11 to 22 at the same location for children aged 7 to 12.
