St. Maarten News – Roland Joe, aka Bushman was part of a delegation from St. Maarten that recently participated in a trade mission and congress about doing sustainable business. The objective of the event was to promote business relationships between parties from Surinam, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Caribbean and Latin America.

For example a company from Surinam could consider by means of a partnership to be active in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Caribbean & Latin America or vice versa. Different keynote speakers held interesting presentations elaborating on the advantages offered when doing business between these countries. There were entrepreneurial and bankers debate showing the do’s and the don’ts of intercultural entrepreneurship. Attention was given to why it is attractive for Surinam to spread its wings towards the kingdom and the other regions.
