GREAT BAY (DCOMM) – Toddler Time, part of the commemoration of World Breastfeeding Week 2017, takes place tomorrow at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library toddler room from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Toddler Time is organized by the section Youth Health Care (YHC) from the Department of Collective Prevention Service (CPS).
Storytelling will be done by Shanella Romney-James.
The goal through storytelling is to get the parents involved with the kids’ learning abilities. Studies have shown that kids that breastfeed tend to be smarter. The focus is not only on the breastfeeding kids, but also on other facets of child development.
