St. Maarten – Following the temporary service to Canefield, Dominica with Twin Otters Winair received positive responses for this service. In contrast to Douglas Charles Airport (DOM), Canefield is but 5 minutes away from the center of capital Roseau.  Winair and its customers have recognized the convenience for those who traveling to Roseau, and therefore will offer scheduled service to Canefield three times per week beginning on January 7, 2016.

“If ever we have received feedback from our customers, it is on this service,” Winair’s president and CEO Michael Cleaver said. “Many customers have asked us for the St. Maarten – Canefield – St. Maarten service. Our handlers in Dominica, Whitchurch Travel received similar requests.”

Combined with the scheduled ATR service to Douglas Charles airport Winair continues to offer daily service to Dominica.

The schedule and departure times from January 7 are as follows.

Pointe-a-Pitre-Dominica – Mondays, Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays: 8.45 a.m.

Dominica – St. Maarten – Mondays, Wednesday, Saturdays and Sundays: 9.45 a.m.

St. Maarten – Dominica – Mondays, Wednesday, Saturdays and Sundays: 4.15 p.m.

Dominica – Pointe-a-Pitre – Mondays, Wednesday, Saturdays and Sundays: 5.45 p.m.

St. Maarten – Dominica Canefield – Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays: 7.30 a.m.

Dominica Canefield – St. Maarten – Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays: 9.30 a.m.
