CAY HILL–Wesley Cheung is the grand prize winner of Kooyman’s 2018 summer raffle. His raffle ticket was picked from amongst 46,000 entries.
Cheung has won a “staycation” package that includes a weekend hotel stay at Simpson Bay Resort and Marina, lunch at “I Love SXM” Beach Bar and a sunset sail with Aqua Mania Adventures. He will also receive US $10,000 bonus Fun Miles, which he can redeem at any Fun Miles partner.
“The Kooyman summer promotion was indeed a success, seeing that over 46,000 tickets were handed out over the five-week period, resulting in 15 weekly winners and one top prize winner,” Kooyman Commercial Officer Evencia Carty-Seabrookes said in a press release on Monday.
She said the intention of the promotional raffle was to give back to the company’s “hard working” and “very loyal customers” who have given up their summer vacation to work on their homes and properties.
“Everyone deserves a break and we are very happy that we could gift something special to a few of our customers,” she said.
Week-five winners are first prize winner Huichao Liang, who received a sunset sail for two; second prize winner Paula Carty, who won a dinner for two at Buffalo Wings St. Maarten; and third prize winner Christian Lont, who won a “date night” at Caribbean Cinemas.
Kooyman congratulated the 16 winners and thanked participants. The company said there will be “many more chances to win big” at Kooyman. Customers are urged to check Kooyman’s website
