PHILIPSBURG–RS Employment Agency, a local employment agency, is currently recruiting construction workers from around the Caribbean and will also be doing so in the Netherlands.
The agency will be attending the “Emigratiebeurs” (immigration expo) in the Netherlands.
The company said in a press release on Monday that due to the passing and destruction of Hurricane Irma on September 6, 2017, there is a shortage of workers in the construction field and its different sectors.
“We are welcoming companies and business representatives to check out our services to represent them in the Netherlands at the fair. We will be looking for suitable candidates with excellent skills to fill job positions to enhance and strengthen our teams in the reconstruction of St. Maarten,” RS Employment Agency Manager Monique Scholten said in the release. “We are happy to be invited and to represent Sint Maarten and our current employment needs at the fair.”
R.S. Employment Agency said it was contacted by representatives of the “Emigratiebeurs” as a gesture to help Sint Maarten in its rebuilding phase, and was invited to represent Sint Maarten and its employment needs at the “Emigratiebeurs” on February 10, and 11, in Houten, the Netherlands.
RS Employment Agency is located at Front Street #19 in Philipsburg, and can also be reached at tel. 542-0002, or email: monique@rsaccountinggroup.com. Companies can send their employment needs before February 5, so that vacancies can be placed on a website, the agency said.
