PHILIPSBURG–Air France announced on Tuesday that they are resuming its non-stop flight schedule between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and St. Maarten – Princess Juliana International Airport SXM. “Two special non-stop flights for the Christmas holiday period will operate between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and SXM on 23 December and 6 January 2018,” according to the airline press statement.
From January 13 to March 26 2018, the end of the 2017-18 winter season, Air France will be operating the non-stop service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and SXM. Once a week, the Airbus A340 with a capacity of 275 seats (30 seats in Business, 21 seats in Premium Economy and 224 seats in Economy) will fly to the island.
From March 27 to June 13, 2018, the start of the 2018 summer season, SXM will be served non-stop by Air France from Paris-Charles de Gaulle once a week by an Airbus A330-200 with a capacity of 208 seats (40 seats in the Business cabin, 21 seats in the Premium Economy cabin and 147 seats in the Economy cabin).
From June 14 to October 27 2018, the end of the 2018 summer season, two weekly flights will operate between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and SXM by Airbus A330-200, with a capacity of 208 seats (40 seats in the Business cabin, 21 seats in the Premium Economy cabin and 147 seats in the Economy cabin).
Since the destruction caused by Hurricane Irma, the Air France-KLM group has been constantly changing its services to SXM and Saint Barthélemy according to changes in demand and the operational constraints involved in the operation of these flights.
