Alarming no-show trend for PSC appointments | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–Many persons who make appointments for services at the Public Service Centre (PSC) fail to show up for their appointments and the department is urging persons to stick to their appointments or to cancel or reschedule in a timely manner if they cannot make the appointment.

Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin told reporters during the Council of Ministers press briefing on Wednesday that the Department of Civil Registry has recorded an “alarming” trend of an increase of “no-shows” for appointments at PSC.

Customers are being advised to take their appointment dates and times for services seriously. Customers are also urged to reschedule or cancel their appointments in a timely manner by contacting PSC’s customer service desk at its Philipsburg or Simpson Bay locations or email .

Cancellations can be done easily by making use of the cancellation or rescheduling link which customers who set their appointments electronically receive by email. Failure to honour an appointment means that the client risks having to set another appointment, which might be at a much later date.
