The Filipino Community of St. Maarten visited Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Primary School on Wednesday morning as part of their Independence celebrations.
“I deeply appreciate the Filipino Community contributing to our school as they celebrate the 120th year of independence of their country,” stated MLK School Manager Stuart Johnson. The special visit to the kindergarten classes included brief remarks by the members of the Filipino Community, and each pupil received a package of gifts and toys. The toys were donated by ACE and the Filipino Community.
