PHILIPSBURG–The 2016 Annual Report of the General Audit Chamber will be up for discussion in a Central Committee meeting of Parliament on Wednesday starting at 11:00am. Representatives of the Audit Chamber will present to discuss the contents of the report with Members of Parliament (MPs). Also on the agenda for the public session is a discussion on documents approved by the General Assembly of the Latin American Parliament Parlatino in June.
The parliamentary session will be live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, Pearl Radio FM 98.1, www.pearlfmradio.sx and www.sxmparliament.org .
Meanwhile, the Secretariat of Parliament will be closed on Friday for a teambuilding activity. The Secretariat will reopen to the public on Monday, September 4.
