ANGUILLA–The Anguilla United Movement (AUM) has announced its candidates for the next election that is scheduled for 2020. Leader of the party, Ellis Lorenzo Webster made the announcement at the launch on Sunday, October 14.

Webster is the candidate for Island Harbour, District 1; Jerome Roberts for Sandy Hill, District 2; Evan Gumbs for Valley South, District 4; Merrick Richardson for Road North 5; Haydn Hughes for Road South 6 and Kimberley Fleming for West End District 7. Webster said the team is not only youthful but has youth at heart. He said Anguilla is at a crossroads in its history and decisions on who is elected are vital to the island’s survival.

The first political meeting of the AUM is scheduled for Saturday, October 20, at the old East End School grounds. The programme will feature calypsonian Gypsy from Trinidad and Tobago who will perform several of his calypsos.
