Father Johannes Janssen is back on St. Maarten, though not at the pulpit. He’s taking a much-needed vacation from his parish in the Netherlands. Janssen was the local parish priest until 2005 when he moved back to Europe. He still has St. Maarten and his parishioners at heart and hopes to one day be back full time on his beloved island. For now, he is busy reconnecting with friends and parishioners until he heads back home next week.
