MARIGOT–Hotel Belmond La Samanna will be supporting the organization of Coralita Association’s annual gala for the children with special needs school SESSAD at Belmond La Samanna Villas on Friday, June 14, from 7:00pm onwards. The hotel is particularly concerned about the conditions of disabled children in St. Martin.

Service d’ Education Spécialisée et de Soins a Domicile (SESSAD) offers specialized care and teaching for children who cannot attend a public institution because of mental, physical or psychological handicaps. Funds raised from the gala will enable SESSAD to increase its capacity (currently there is a waiting list of 60 children) and finance special projects (artistic activities, professional orientations, etcetera.)

Tickets are currently on sale for the gala at US $150 or150 euros per person from the Coralita-SESSAD Association headquarters in Marigot (15, Rue de la Liberté) and from Belmond La Samanna. The entrance fee includes a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails and a 3-course menu with wine pairing and coffee. Entertainment will be organized by Coralita-SESSAD and all profits will go to Coralita SESSAD.

Belmond La Samanna takes the opportunity to thank the following sponsors, who immediately accepted to support this project. They are: Preferred Food Services and Managing Director Kyle Cummings, who donated the totality of the market list for cocktail and dinner; Le Goût du Vin and Managing Director Stephane Jobert, who donated the wine for the dinner; Moët-Hennessy distributed on the island by Caribbean Liquors & Tobacco BV, represented by Managing Director Georges Gréaux and Brand Manager Mathieu Fontanaud, who donated all spirits used in the cocktails; Prime Distributors and Brand Manager Chloe Dubois, who donated still and sparkling water for the event; Malongo, distributed by Kaloa and Manager Anne Auclair, who donated the coffee for the event; Sparkle Services and Managing Director Kevin Stephen, who offered logistic assistance in the event set-up.
