BTA postpones International Elegance mother pageant | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–Believe to Achieve (BTA) Foundation announced this week that the third annual Miss International Elegance Mothers Pageant 2018 originally set for this weekend has been postponed to a later date due to unforeseen circumstances of participating country representatives.

The participants were set to arrive on-island this week, but due to the heavy rain and flooding in Trinidad and Tobago and St. Vincent and the Grenadines they were unable to come to the island, according to BTA. The group apologised for the inconvenience this may cause.

BTA has already started rescheduling the show and will announce this at a later date. “For those who purchased tickets already for the show, you guys can all still hold on to it, as the tickets will be valid for the next event date, or you guys can go back to the outlets where you purchased your tickets, to be refunded.

“This situation was beyond our control and we want to be able to give you guys the show that you all paid for. We still promise to give the population of SXM an exceptional and wonderful show, nothing less than that,” said the foundation in its press release.

BTA is looking at the Pre-Event Pink Cocktail Party at Tropicana Casino for Saturday, December 8, starting 8:00pm.
