PHILIPSBURG–Parliament will continue its Central Committee meeting on the draft 2018 budget on Wednesday, May 2, at 2:00pm in Parliament House. The document was tabled on Thursday by Finance Minister Mike Ferrier.
Four new points were added to the agenda: the advice on the installation and composition of the Permanent and Ad hoc Committees of Parliament; advice on the installation and composition of the Committees of the Latin American Parliament Parlatino; the approval composition delegation and provisions for MPs to participate in Inter-Parliamentary Kingdom Consultations IPKO and Tripartite meetings in The Hague from May 29 to June 1; and the advice concerning Regulation for Parliament fraction workers.
The parliament session is open to the public and will be live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, Pearl Radio FM 98.1, SXMGOV Radio 107.9 FM, www.pearlfmradio.sx, www.sxmparliament.org and Facebook.com/Parliament of Sint Maarten.
