MARIGOT–Several member vessels of non-profit association Caribbean Sail Training (CST) are once again being hosted by the Port of Marigot in St. Martin.
While the ships Frederyk Chopin and Wylde Swan came already earlier this month and have left on trips around the Islands, as from today, the three-mast Blue Clipper is moored close to the Dutch two-mast Morgenster in the Bay of Marigot.
Morgenster will leave by the end of the month on an Atlantic crossing back to Holland. Blue Clipper is here for a few days and will return to St. Martin in several weeks to participate in Tall Ships Day on Thursday, February 28.
Several kids from schools on the Dutch and French side will be invited to sail along on one of the vessels during Tall Ships Day.
Other expected vessels in Marigot include Eendracht, Eye of the Wind, Wylde Swan, Fryderyk Chopin and others.
One youngster from St. Martin has just finished a two-week sail training trip from Martinique to the Grenadines and back.
