Traffic on the causeway bridge slowed to a snail’s pace around 2:00pm Saturday when an accident occurred between a scooter and a truck. Exactly how the accident occurred could not be ascertained. However, reports indicate that the rider of the scooter, who is apparently a delivery person from a nearby restaurant, had to be transported to St. Maarten Medical Center (SMMC) for treatment.
