Passengers on the inaugural CN-Express flight from St. Eustatius to Bonaire.
ST. EUSTATIUS–Recently-introduced airline CN-Express took off Friday morning from F.D. Roosevelt Airport in St. Eustatius, carrying 42 passengers on board. This is the largest group the aircraft has carried since the airline was introduced to Statia on February 25, when it carried 10 persons on board. The airline connects Bonaire with Saba and Statia. Some of the passengers on the inaugural flight were members of Statia’s Government Information Service GIS, The Daily Herald correspondent and other passengers.
On board the aircraft on Friday were students returning from their Easter vacation, employees of Government Service Caribbean Netherlands RCN, patients of Health Insurance Department ZVK, as well as persons travelling to other destinations via Bonaire.
The airline has already proven to be an essential connector between the islands of the Caribbean Netherlands.
Passengers from Saba also utilize this airline as they travel with Winair via a connecting flight to Statia. CN-Express flies with a 48-seat ATR42 aircraft.
