COCI urges entrepreneurs to register for next workshop | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–St. Maarten Chamber of Commerce and Industry (COCI) is urging entrepreneurs to register for its next “Grow Your Business with COCI” workshop, which is set for the COCI Conference room on September 26, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

This second workshop will be facilitated by Attorney Jason Rogers and will focus on the legal system for businesses. Persons interested in attending the workshop must register and pay a registration fee of US $20. Seating is limited and potential attendees need to register as soon as possible. The workshop is part of a series of workshops. Each workshop will deal with one specific topic such as tax affairs, customer service, human resources, marketing, financial planning and overcoming challenges to success.

The workshops are being organised in connection with COCI’s 40th anniversary. The other workshops are scheduled for October 24, on tax system for businesses with Quincy Lont; November 21, on human resources, with Adelena Chandler-Schaap; December 12, on online marketing with United St. Maarten Party (US Party) Member of Parliament Rolando Brison; and January 20, on customer service with Glen Yeung.
