COLE BAY–The line-up of comedians for this year’s fifteenth Laugh ’Til Belly Burst (LTBB) comedy show are ready to tickle St. Maarten residents’ funny bones this weekend, June 7 and 8, under the tent at Princess Port de Plaisance Resort and Casino.

American actor and comedian Tommy Davidson, who is best known for his role in the comedy show “In Living Color”, will headline the show. Also heating up the stage will be Errol and George from Trinidad and Tobago, Rachel Price also from TT, Lemon from Jamaica and Kane Brown from London. All the comedians are set to arrive in the country on Wednesday and will be doing interviews on a number of local radio stations in the run-up to the grand event.

“They are all geared up and excited to be here,” LTBB coordinators said over the weekend. Local radio personality Gary “Gee Money” Euton will serve as emcee for the show.

Tickets are currently on sale for an LTBB raffle with a round-trip ticket for two to New York City and a six-night stay at The Embassy Suites in Manhattan as the top prize.

The second prize is a round-trip ticket for two to any Windward Islands Airways International Winair destination (Antigua, Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Dominica, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Nevis, Saba, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, St. Barths, St. Eustatius, St Kitts, St. Maarten or Tortola). The third prize is a three-night stay at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort and Casino and the fourth prize is a Samsung Galaxy S9 mobile phone.

The raffle will be drawn during the show on Saturday, June 8, and persons do not have to be at the show on this date to be a winner. Raffle tickets cost US $15 each and are on sale at United Telecommunications Services (UTS) stores, Winair, and Travel Planners. Raffle tickets does not permit entry into the show.

Tickets for the LTBB show cost $40 in advance or $45 at the door, and are available at UTS, Van Dorp, Tackling Sol Gas Station, Chez Coco at the Marigot waterfront, and Blue Valley Supermarket (Cripple Gate next to Siapoc).

The show will start at 8:00pm sharp. Doors open at 7:00pm. Coordinators urge patrons to be seated by 7:45pm. Patrons can expect a “big surprise” at the beginning of the show.
