PHILIPSBURG–Compass Insurances will be hosting an information session on life insurance at University of St. Martin (USM) on Thursday, June 22, from 5:30pm.
The presentations will be held in rooms 202/203 at USM and refreshments will be available.
Compass said in a press release that life insurance and estate planning are key components for persons to create the financial future that they want. “This topic is relevant to single persons, young families, middle-aged persons, seniors and business owners,” stated the release.
“We work hard every day, but unfortunately many of us are not prepared for unexpected events during our lifetime. We are not prepared for the untimely death of love ones or the lack of income we may have as we grow older. These are just two examples, but there are many more areas you should think about when you consider building a legacy or an inheritance for your family through life insurance and estate planning.”
This year’s seminar will be held under the theme: “Building a legacy through life insurance.”
Compass Insurances will explore how insurance and financial estate planning can help person’s create the estate and provide the solutions needed for themselves, their family and/or business.
Civil Law Notary Meredith Boekhoudt of Civil Law Notary Office Boekhoudt will be the special guest sharing information on estate planning.
Compass Insurances has more than 20 years experience in various types of insurances and are “excited” to share some of that knowledge during this seminar. “We believe that a community with the right information is better prepared for the future,” the company said.
Persons are asked to register their attendance by Monday, June 19, via email at: events@compass.sx, via telephone at tel. +1(721) 523-0062 or +(721) 542-2951 or at www.compass.sx.
