Correction: St. Dominic High Bingo on SATURDAY Feb 6th!

Correction

An article, which appeared on page 16, of the Thursday, February 4, edition of The Daily Herald’s Out ‘N About under the headline “St. Dominic High Bingo on Sunday,” inadvertently indicated that the school bingo is on Sunday. The St. Dominic High annual bingo is actually this Saturday, February 6, and not the date mentioned in the article. The Daily Herald regrets the error.

Corrected article: St. Dominic High Bingo on Saturday

Calling all bingo lovers! St. Dominic High School will be hosting its popular annual fundraising bingo at the school’s auditorium this Saturday, February 6, from 8:00pm.

Numerous great prizes will be up for grabs: Airline tickets, weekend stays in luxury resorts, jewellery, household items, electronic equipment, gift certificates for dinners at popular restaurants and many more items.

Go with empty stomachs as snacks and drinks will be on sale. Items such as croquettes, Johnny cakes, patties, sates and samosas will be there for your enjoyment.

Proceeds from the Bingo will be ploughed back into the school and used for various improvement projects at the institution that will directly benefit students.

Coordinating the bingo competition is the school’s active Parent Teachers Association (PTA) in collaboration with students, teachers and parents.

Bingo tickets cost US$10/NAf.18 and are available from the school, PTA members, students and teachers. Persons interested in purchasing Bingo cards in advance can contact the school or any member of the PTA, students or teachers.
