The art commission of the Joint Court of Justice in Curaçao is organizing a new exhibition of works by painter Gilmar Monte.

This artist from Curaçao discovered his talent for painting at a young age, and has further developed it through participation in Curaçao Art Academy and other workshops. He has held previous exhibitions at Biblioteka Nashonal, Sentro di Bario Tera Kora and at Blue Bay Resort. Monte’s works can be seen in the hall and corridor of the City Hall in the coming weeks. Visitors can also visit the “150 Year Court” works of art made by Court staff members in connection with the Joint Court’s 150th anniversary.
