A Gendarme from the mobile brigade was involved in an accident on his motorbike on Saturday morning while pursuing a scooter in the Concordia district.
It was understood the Gendarme crashed into the back of a car, however, the exact circumstances on the cause of the accident were unclear. He was treated in hospital for light injuries.
