Island Gems Charity Foundation recently donated arts and crafts supplies to the Methodist Agogic Centre elementary school. The materials will aid pupils in developing their fine motor skills and spark the imagination through handicrafts, painting and other media. Island Gems, the oldest charity on the island, has assisted the school in Philipsburg in the past and was approached to replace materials lost in last year’s hurricanes. Delivering the materials were foundation members Kerisha James and Jody Rosen. Island Gems supports registered foundations and associations on both sides of the island.
