PHILIPSBURG–Laugh Out Loud Productions is once again hosting the annual dance group show called Dance Mania, set for February 3. Organisers announced this past weekend that six groups had signed up so far and they call on up-and-coming dance groups to participate in the dance showcase.
The youth organisation promises to raise the bar this year and feature some of the island’s best dance groups. The event also brings a number of new groups to the forefront and gives them the opportunity to perform in front of their peers. This is the 12th edition of Dance Mania, which has been the driving engine for up-and-coming dancers on the island for more than a decade.
The groups have been preparing for months and several guest acts have been added to the showcase. Popular road band No Limit Band will open the show with its energetic performances. The show will kick off at 7:00 pm and tickets will go on sale on January 15.
“We are looking for more dance groups to sign up because the show always gives groups the platform to dance in front of their peers. Dance Mania is the first talent show for the year. Dance Mania is always full of surprises and this year will be no different,” according to organizers on Tuesday.
