Debate on budget resumes tomorrow | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–Parliament resumes its plenary session on the draft 2019 budget on Friday in Parliament House at 11:00am. The debate was suspended on May 14 after Finance Minister Perry Geerlings made a presentation and requested the temporary halt to the session to allow for advice from the Committee for Financial Supervision CFT.

The Council of Ministers, headed by Prime Minister Leona Romeo-Marlin, is expected to be present for the sitting.

The parliament session is open to the public and will be live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, SXM GOV radio FM 107.9, Pearl Radio FM 98.1,, and of Sint Maarten.
