LITTLE BAY--Divi Little Bay Beach Resort recently opened a new 100-foot-long pier to be used as a launching point for a wide range of water sports and adventure tours carried out by Aqua Mania Adventures as of this month.
A wide variety of round-the-island trips, champagne brunch sails, sunset sails and adventure tours will depart from the pier.
Debby Lind-Steyn, Manager of Aqua Mania Adventures, is excited about the new pier. “It both enhances the amenities at the Resort and expands our service from another key St. Maarten location. Sailing from the Little Bay peninsula is just so beautiful. Our clients will have lots of photo opportunities the moment we cast off," she said.
Celine van Meer, General Manager of Divi Little Bay Beach Resort, said the pier will greatly add to the resort’s guest experience. "This new pier means our guests can enjoy even more fun activities right from our bay.”
Aqua Mania offers from the pier the Santino Round-the-Island Tour on Tuesdays, Sand Dollar to Creole Rock on Wednesdays, Tango Shoal Bay and Cove Bay Anguilla and Tango Sunset Sail on Thursdays, and Chartered Sails on Moon Dance and Sail La Vie on Fridays.
Daily except for Saturdays, Dive Adventures Double and Single Tank Dives and Discover Scuba Classes are available.
The pier at the resort is located near Aqua Mania Adventures’ kiosk. It took eight weeks to build and is made of steel and concrete for durability, and finished with wood planks to add visual appeal.
