Doran takes over as PM travels for family reasons | THE DAILY HERALD

PHILIPSBURG–Minister of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI and Deputy Prime Minister Egbert Doran has taken over the responsibilities of Prime Minister Silveria Jacobs, who is travelling abroad today, Tuesday, for “family-related matters.”

Despite her absence, Jacobs said she will still be in contact with Doran and the rest of her colleagues through virtual means.

Jacobs has not disclosed how long she will be out of office.
