ST. EUSTATIUS–A delegation led by Director-General for Environment and International Affairs at the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment DGMI Roald Lapperre arrived in St. Eustatius Monday afternoon for a working visit.
Travelling with the Director-General were Environmental Coordinator for the Caribbean Netherlands Milton Horn and Deputy Director of Safety Sebe Buitenkamp.
Lapperre and his delegation were met at F.D. Roosevelt Airport by Government Commissioner Marcolino “Mike” Franco and Acting Government Commissioner Mervyn Stegers.
During their visit, the ministerial delegation is set to meet with government and private officials. A tour of various sites on the island related to the environment is also scheduled, as well as a visit to NuStar Statia Terminal.
