Baby Petion-Charles was the first infant born for 2017 at St. Maarten Medical Centre on Tuesday, January 3.
No babies were born on December 31 or January 1. The baby boy was delivered to Lenis Petion-Charles by Dr. Mathew and entered this world at 10:03am. The Rotary Club of St. Maarten Mid-Isle started a “Welcome Baby” bags project and was on hand to deliver the tote. Supporting these bags were the Rotarians of Mid-Isle as well as representatives of Bebé n Kids, Domino’s Pizza, Caribbean International Academy Interact Club, Lucky Cosmetics, Penny’s and Visser Pharmacy.
